The IMPCO 1 and IMPCO 2 courses are each divided into two-evening classes. The classes include training on natural gas and propane industrial engine technologies. Each course provides hands-on experience using IMPCO Technology and equipment. The courses are recommended for C.N.G and L.P.G service technicians, technical trainers, and supervisors/shop foremen.
IMPCO 1 – IMPCO SYSTEMS– This is a two-evening 8-hour course that covers the theory and operation of IMPCO systems including diagnostics and use of special tools. The following subjects will be covered in this class*:
- Safety
- Industry Terminology
- Fuel Characteristics
- Lock off and Filters
- Pressure Regulators
- Fuel Mixers
- Closed Loop Operation
- Test Equipment
* This course is a prerequisite to IMPCO 2 Spectrum System

IMPCO 2 – SPECTRUM SYSTEM – This is a two-evening 8-hour course that covers the theory and operation of IMPCO Spectrum system including diagnostics and special tools. Prerequisite: Completion of IMPCO 1 course.

- Computer Controlled Fuel Systems
- Adaptive Memory
- Closed Loop Operation
- Drive By Wire Theory and Operation
- Multi-Point Fuel Injection (MPFI)
- LPG Fuel Options

THREE-DAY COURSE
Comprehensive Three-Day IMPCO Gaseous Fuel System Training Course
IMPCO SYSTEMS – This three-day course is a fully comprehensive course in IMPCO systems. It includes all subjects covered in IMPCO 1 and IMPCO 2, including system operation, diagnostics, overhaul, systems selection and sizing for application, CNG, LPG, LNG, Spectrum system service and diagnostics, special tools and diagnostic equipment. All training materials and software will be provided. Prerequisite: None.
