Do I need to take the Assessment/Placement Test?

-If you plan to enroll in a Math, English, or Reading class or if you plan to earn an A.A. Degree,
you need to take the Assessment Placement Test prior to orientation. Click here to Get Started!

How can I find out if I qualify for Financial Aid?

How do I get to the Automotive Center?

-View the Cerritos College Map. The Automotive Center can be accessed from New Falcon Way and parking is available in Lot C-10.

Do you work on the public’s cars?

-No. The students enrolled in the class work on their own cars.

What classes do I need to take to become a smog technician?

-Auto 80 (offered in the Fall Semester)
-Auto 281 (offered in the Spring Semester)
-Smog Update Course (Email jrudd@cerritos.edu for more information on the next update course)

Do you issue a certificate of completion after each class?

-No, we don’t. But you can take the following classes and petition for a certificate through admissions and records after you complete all the classes:
