The purpose of the Business Communications Office Technology Department is to provide the student an opportunity for training and/or re-training to meet the requirements of current office technologies and secretarial fields to achieve professional or personal growth.
The primary function of the Business Communications courses is to prepare students in the Business Division, regardless of their majors, to communicate orally and in writing incorporating different business documents including letters, memos, reports, resumes, career development, business presentations, etc.
The primary function of the Office Technology courses is to prepare students for gainful employment in the fields of Administrative/Executive Assistance, Word Processing, Secretarial (Executive, Legal, Medical), and Office Technologies.
