Chairperson Note of Thanks

Dear Cerritos College Community Members,

First, please accept our thanks for supporting our bond measure in March 2004. A citizens' committee wouldn't even exist if not for your support.

As chairperson of the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee, I know I speak on behalf of us all when I say that we are honored to be serving you, our community, by participating on the committee. The purpose of our committee is to meet twice a year to review and discuss how the college has spent the bond money to modernize the campus.  Our group is comprised of several community members, who, because they are current or former students or former employees, have a vested interest in the college. You may even recognized my name as a retiree of the college.

I can tell you that our entire committee is thrilled to be part of the college's campus improvement. We look forward to the changes ahead, and hope you'll be watching for the development along with us!
