DH 120  Preventive Dentistry II            (2 units)

Class hours: 2 lecture

Prerequisite: DH 114 and HO 152 or equivalent with grades of Credit or "C" or higher.

Recommendations: DH 110 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or "C" or higher.

This course offers clinical information in the areas of patient motivation for plaque control, including periodontal disease, and dietary analysis.  Techniques in nutritional counseling for the dental patient will be emphasized.
