DH 238  Community Outreach I (1 unit)

Class hours: 3 lab

Prerequisite: DH 110 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or "C" or higher

This course is designed to provide the student with an opportunity to deliver dental health education to children in the community.  Students will be assigned to elementary school classrooms and will prepare lesson plans, behavioral objectives, and plan of evaluation, to be used in presenting subject matter to the children.
