DH 239  Introduction to Dental Biostatistics & Research     (2 units)

Class hours: 2 lecture

Prerequisite: DH 110 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or "C" or higher

Corequisite: DH 120 and DH 238

This course provides a basic introduction to the principles of health education and research.  Emphasis will be placed on the teaching/learning process, pedagogy effective with a diverse population of elementary school children, and research methodology for the development of a scientific poster session suitable for presentation in the dental community.
