Cerritos College's court reporting program within the college's business education division has prepared students to become court reporters for more than thirty years. The Court Reporters Board of California approved the program to train court reporters  in July 1974, and the National Court Reporters Association approved theprogram in January 2000. Requirements for entering the court reporting program are a high school diploma and a basic understanding of the English language and grammar. Students progress at their own rate. Few careers match the challenge of court reporting. For more information about court reporting courses at Cerritos College, please visit www.cerritos.edu/be.
