I. Preparing Your Programs
| Open your file in MS Word. In this example, the word file is called homework.doc |

| The next step is to open Internet Explorer and log-on to your Yahoo account. Now you should have two programs running; MS Word and Internet Explorer. |

| Create an e-mail on Yahoo. Now you are ready to copy. This step is explained in the "Yahoo Student Guide." |
II. Copy and Paste.
| Step 1 | Switch to MS Word. You do this by clicking on your assignment on the task bar. The button will become depressed. |
| Step 2 | Select all the text you want copied onto your e-mail message. Click on Edit > Select All. | |

| Your file should look like this when it is all selected. | ||

| Step 3 | Now click on Edit and go to Copy. Edit > Copy | |

| Step 4 | Now switch to your Yahoo account. You do this by clicking on Internet Explorer on the task bar. | |
| Step 5 | With Yahoo email open, click in the area where you write your message until you see a blinking line. Now click on Edit > Paste. (fig1) Once you have pasted your text it should appear on the screen. (fig 2) | |

| Step 6 | Once you are done pasting, send your e-mail as you normally would. | |
