The Cerritos College Economic Development Department serves the specialized education needs of business and industry in the greater Los Angeles area. We provide customized, quality controlled programs beyond the scope of traditional academic curriculum designed to produce immediate measurable results.

The Cerritos College Economic Development Department provides contract employee training for California industry, with a focus on Manufacturing Skills training & Business Management training. Courses can be conducted on-site or on our training facility. Our workforce training experts leverage resources to maximize our highly customized, cost-effective business and technical training to fit your company's objectives and budget. Bilingual training available for many of our courses.

What's New

Technology Career Seminars launching March 2012

 

Economic Development is launching the Technology Career Seminar series this spring. The following seminars will be offered: Welding Technology, Industrial Design and Machine Technology, Composites Fabrication, and Plastics for Inventors and Designers.
These seminars will be held on Saturday mornings and will launch this March.

 

California Industry Studies

 

The California Community College Centers for Applied Competitive Technology (CACT) has just released an up to date profile of the state's following industries: Aerospace Manufacturing, Biotechnical Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, and Printing & Publishing. It includes current information on employment, revenue, and related training programs.
