Welcome to Cerritos College Child Development Center! The Cerritos College Child Development Center is a program that services students, college employees and the community. The Center is also a laboratory school for future teachers in the field of Early Childhood Education. Our purpose is to provide a safe, nurturing, exceptional early childhood education program for children from 2 to 5 years old. Inspired by the schools of Regio Emilia, Italy we use a constructivist approach to teaching and learning.

We have been providing child development services and serving our community since 1973. The Center meets and exceeds the standrads and regulations required by the State of California for chilcare providers and is regularly inspected. Cerritos College Development Center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. As educators, we hold the vision of our planet united in harmony, with each individual living life to its fullness. For us, the Cerritos College Child Development Center is where we begin.
