Things to Note

>>> Have You Driven the Electric Mini Cooper?

All employees are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to test out the Electric Mini Coopers which we are leasing from MINI USA.

In the one-year test program, the college provides feedback to Mini as to how the vehicles perform in real conditions.  The Mini-E is a concept car and is not expected to be put on the market any time soon - this is your only chance to experience one!  All college employees who are approved by the campus police to drive college-owned vehicles can drive them.

Priority is given to the college's official business such as off-site events and meetings, but for other use, arrangements can be made with the Automotive Department!  Contact David Roper, at extension 2935 or droper@cerritos.edu for the detail.  To get clearance to drive college vehicles, bring your driver’s license to the Campus Police and fill out paperwork. It may take up to two weeks to get clearance.

>>> Nomination Period for Outstanding Faculty - Time to nominate a faculty, instructor, coach, librarian, counselor, or student service for Outstanding Faculty. The nominations are until December 2. You can also nominate on-line through Faculty Senate website.
