CSEA to Celebrate Classified School Employees Week
CSEA Chapter 161 will celebrate its first annual Classified School Employees Week Celebrations from May 15 to May 21.
Classified School Employee Week began as a resolution at CSEA's Annual Conference in 1984. Two years later, it was adopted as California Senate Bill 1552 and decreed to be an official recognition of classified school employees. Today, CSEA members throughout California celebrate the week with picnics, barbecues and other social events.
Monday, May 16 - Show pride and wear your CSEA t-shirts or any blue shirt
Tuesday, May 17 - CSEA potluck picnic at the Campus Amphitheater 11:30a.m.-1p.m.
Wednesday, May 18 - Root beer floats in the Quad - Take a break and enjoy a root beer float 2-3p.m.
Thursday, May 19 - Donuts & juice at Facilities 6a.m.
Classified Awards Ceremony in Student Center 11a.m.-1p.m.
