Sixteenth Annual Chamber Mega Mixer draws area businesses

Cerritos College's 16th Annual Mega Mixer, held April 24, lived up to its name as chambers and businesses mingled with more than 400 area business leaders.

Hosted by the Cerritos College Public Affairs, the gathering afforded local business professionals a chance to network, share ideas, and win several prizes.

The evening featured a game theme "Fun with Business - in it to win it," complete with board games, dice and wheels of fortune. Scrumptious hors d'oeuvres and desserts specially prepared by the award-winning Cerritos College Culinary Arts program created a wonderful tasty treat.

Local chambers of commerce represented at the mixer included Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, Norwalk, Paramount and Santa Fe Springs.

Since it began in 1996, the Chamber Mega Mixer has grown each year to feature booths from local businesses, along with several of the college's award-winning programs. The mixer's traditionally casual and entertaining atmosphere provides fun networking opportunities, door prizes and drawings, and an opportunity to showcase some of the college's programs and services.
