All prerequisites will be strictly enforced by Falcon Phone and MyCerritos! You will NOT be able to register for any course that has a prerequisite without demonstrating you have met the prerequisite prior to registering.

How do I meet a course prerequisite at Cerritos College?

•  Take appropriate placement test and enroll in the recommended course
•  Complete the prerequisite course with a “C” grade or higher.

How do I meet a prerequisite if I attended another college?

• Complete the prerequisite course with a “C” grade or higher and bring transcripts to the Counseling Department, or
• Take appropriate placement test and bring test score with course recommendation to the Counseling Department.

How do I meet a prerequisite that asks for a skill, experience or license?

• Complete the “Requisite Clearance Request Form” and attach documentation. Submit the form to the Counseling Department.

If you are currently enrolled in the prerequisite at Cerritos College, you will be able to enroll in the next level course.
