Office Information

The Counseling Office hours are Monday thru Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Friday 8:00-4:00pm. Counseling appointments can be made through the Counseling website or in person at the Counseling Division located in the Administration Building. If you are calling by telephone, please call (562) 860-2451 Ext. 2231.

Walk-in counseling is also available Monday thru Thursday 9:00, 2:00pm & 5:00pm (sign up 10 minutes prior). Walk-in counseling is for students who have quick questions regarding the current semester. Questions involving transcripts, financial aid lock-in lists, educational planning for the following semester, etc. will be directed to schedule a counseling appointment.

Although the counseling services are on a voluntary basis, all entering freshman, students on probation, students transferring in from other schools, F-1 VISA students, and students on financial aid are required to meet with a counselor for program planning and approval before registration. Generally, students should schedule conferences each semester.
