The Theatre Arts and Music Departments began offering this Entertainment Technology Occupational Program in 2009. This program was created to train entry-level stage technicians to work on portable entertainment events. Students can complete the program in less than one year with skills enabling them to step directly into the entertainment job market. The program culminates with the "Concert Under The Stars" summer series. The students in the Th 225 - Portable Event Production class set up the stage, the truss, the audio equipment, and the lighting equipment for each concert.
