We encourage all students to apply for financial aid even if you do not think you are eligible.  We offer many financial aid programs for students. 

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is easier than ever.  Be sure to list our school code 001161.  

We have extended our office hours for your convenience. If you need assistance, please stop by our office and we will be glad to help you access resources to achieve your academic goals.

It is not too late to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2009-2010 year which includes Fall 2009, Spring 2010, Summer 2010.  The process can take a few weeks or several months depending on how quickly you turn in the required documentation.

Part-time and full-time students may qualify for financial aid. There are many factors besides income used to determine your eligibility.

Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

List the Federal School Code for Cerritos College 001161.

Read Missing Information Letter (MIL).

Download the required forms.  

Submit required forms to the Financial Aid Office.

If you are eligible for aid, an Award Letter will be mailed to you.

You may also view your awards on MyCerritos. 

Receive and activate your Cerritos Falcon Card.

The Financial Aid Office will disburse your financial aid.
