The 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is still available.  It is not too late to apply.  Although, you may have missed the April 30th deadline, you can still apply and submit required forms to receive financial aid.  The 2018-19 FAFSA will be available starting October 1st, 2017. 


Important Notice

The Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGFW) waives your Enrollment Fees ($46 per unit). The BOGFW does not waive the Student Health Fee, Student Activity Fee, or any Lab/Materials Fees. You must pay allfees by the establisheddeadline to avoid being dropped from all your classes.An outstanding debt for upaid fees will prevent enrollment.

Financial Aid is located in the north side of the admin quad near the Alondra drop-off.

Financial Aid forms can be submitted by mail to:
Cerritos College Financial Aid, 11110 Alondra Blvd. Norwalk, CA 90650 or fax to (562) 467-5035 or submit in person during our office hours. There is also a silver drop-box located in the lobby of the Financial Aid Office for your convenience.

Financial Aid Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs):

1.    Understand the importance of meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards to maintain financial aid eligibility.

2.    Know of various available financial aid programs including on and off-campus resources.

3.    Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of financial responsibility.

4.    Know the importance of applying early, submitting forms, and meeting deadlines for successfully applying for financial aid.
