Financial Aid Important Dates
January – Submit financial aid application online at www.fafsa.ed.gov . Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) becomes available for upcoming award year.
March 2nd – Cal Grant application deadline – Submit both FAFSA and Cal Grant GPA Verification Form
March – April – Respond to Missing Information Letter (MIL) or view To Do’s on MyCerritos. Submit all required documentation to the Financial Aid Office.
July – Financial Aid Office begins mailing of Award Notification Letters to students
*Note regarding Cal Grant Deadlines - March 2nd and September 2nd are the deadlines each year to apply for the Cal Grant. FAFSA and GPA Verifications must be submitted by these dates to apply. GPA's will be automatically electronically sent for students who have at least 16 cumulative degree applicable units posted on the Cerritos College Transcript.
