Submit financial aid application online at www.fafsa.gov or www.caldreamact.org. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application becomes available for upcoming award year.
Cal Grant application deadline – Submit both FAFSA and Cal Grant GPA Verification Form or California Dream Act Application and the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form.

Respond to Missing Information Letter (MIL) or view To Do’s on MyCerritos. Submit all required documentation to the Financial Aid Office.If you are selected for verification, you can use the IRS Data Retrieval tool to pull in your IRS tax data to the FAFSA. This tool is available approximately 2 weeks after filing your tax return.
Financial Aid Office begins notifying students of awards. You will be sent an award notification via message center on MyCerritos. You may also view your awards on MyCerritos. Refund selection kits will be sent to new students who are eligible for financial aid funds.
If eligible, first disbursements will be released on the first day of school. Login to MyCerritos to view your account activity to check if your refund has been processed.
