Deferments
A deferment is a temporary postponement of a borrower's student loan repayment. A borrower is entitled to defer his or her student loan payments if the borrower meets certain eligibility criteria and requests a deferment. You must be actively attending at least 6 units.
It is your responsibility to complete a deferment form and submit it to your financial aid office. You are encouraged to provide a fax number to your lender for faster processing.
