Welcome to the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) Division Home Page at Cerrritos College. The HSS Division main office is in the lower-level of the Social Sciences building which is located on the northwest corner of campus. There you will also find the dean's office and the offices of full and part-time HSS faculty and staff. Departments and programs in the division include:

-Take an accelerated summer course in the HSS division. You can reach your transfer, degree or certificate requirements faster or just take a course for personal and/or professional growth.
-Congratulations! Sociology professor Dr. Amy Holzgang receives Outstanding Faculty Award for the academic year 2007-2008. Over the last three years, the HSS Division has had three Outstanding Faculty Award winners: Michelle Lewellen, John Haas and now Amy Holzgang. We have some great faculty in our division, full-time and adjunct. Kudos to all!!
