Road To Enrollment - Introduction

Fall (Aug-Dec) Spring (Jan-May)*Summer (May-Aug)
Successful students start the enrollment process approximately 4 months or more in advance to:
- submit an admissions application
- complete assessment testing (Math, Reading and English or ESL only)
- process financial aid (FAFSA)+
- attend a new student orientation
This will help you experience a smooth transition in your first semester of college at Cerritos College. For some students it may be possible to complete the enrollment process in less time.
+Students applying for Financial Aid with the FAFSA application (www.fafsa.gov) may need more time to file an application, submit documentation and receive an award letter in a timely manner.
*Summer term is an optional term offered as a 6-week session. This term offers limited courses, and may not be suitable for all new students. Summer Connections - COUN 50 requires a summer application to the college. Summer Connections is an orientation class intended for new students to college.
