iFALCON Scholarships

The iFALCON Scholarships were created to support the academic success of Cerritos College students. The iFALCON Club holds a series of fund-raising events during the year, all of which aim to increase the scholarship fund. Scholarships are awarded during the spring ASCC awards ceremony.

Traditionally, the scholarships winners have been selected by a panel of students, faculty, and one member of the Board of Trustees.

The Spring 2010 iFALCON scholarships included:

Focus Scholarship: $500 awarded to a full-time student meeting the following criteria:

• • minimum 3.0 GPA
  • 12 or more units completed at Cerritos College
  • currently enrolled in 12 or more units at Cerritos College

Spring 2010 Focus Scholarship winner: Alejandro Nunez

Advance Scholarship: $500 awarded to a part-time student meeting the following criteria:

• • minimum 3.0 GPA
  • 20 or more units completed at Cerritos College
  • currently enrolled in at least 6 units and no more than 11.5 units at Cerritos College
