Application Requirements

Completed International Student Application
$50 non-refundable application fee ($35 for re-admit students.) Make check payable to CERRITOS COLLEGE FOUNDATION.
Statement of Support must be Notarized by a notary public.
Bank Certification of at least $22,000.00 US dollars must be on bank letterhead which must include an official bank officer signature.
Test for Tuberculosis (TB) signed by your physician, or taken at the Cerritos College Student Health and Wellness Center if you are on-campus.
Proof of English Proficiency (PHOTOCOPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED)
- TOEFL (450+ written/paper exam, 133+ computerized exam 45-46+ internet based exam)

Proof of high school graduation (Official Diploma or Transcripts)
Official transcripts from all U.S. colleges and universities attended.

If you are currently in the USA, you must also include the following:

Cerritos College Placement Test - CELSA (given at Cerritos College) for those students within the U.S
Valid passport, visa and I-94 card
Transfer authorization (from previous U.S. college or language school attended). Must include SEVIS release date.
Copy of ALL I-20’s (SEVIS and Non-SEVIS)
Medical Insurance Coverage - available in the International Student Center. Outside medical insurance plans will NOT be accepted by Cerritos College.
Dependents - Write the name, date of birth, country of birth, relationship to the F-1 student for each dependent (spouse and children) on a separate sheet of paper. All dependents must have medical insurance. Add $3,000.00 for each dependent.
