eBooks at the Cerritos College Library

The Cerritos College Library has added over 4000 eBooks to its collection! eBooks are the digital versions of published print materials and are searchable 24 hours a days, seven days a week. Browse or search the eBook collection using NetLibrary, one of the world’s leading providers of eBooks through which you can access a wide range of research, reference, and reading materials using any computer with Internet access.

The Cerritos College librarians encourage you to “check out” NetLibrary. You can browse or search more than 800 new books and 3400 classic titles from the NetLibrary home page or find links to all these eBooks in our online library catalog. If you are on campus, you will be able to view an eBook right away. If you wish to view eBooks from off campus, you first need to establish a user account with NetLibrary from a campus computer.

If you are on campus, you will be able to view an eBook right away. If you wish to view eBooks from off campus, you first need to establish a user account with NetLibrary from a campus computer. Go to NetLibrary and click on Create a Free Account in the upper right corner.

Search for eBooks

Try one of these three easy ways to access the Cerritos College collection of eBooks:

1. From a campus computer. Go to the Library Home Page. Click on the eBooks link and begin your search. You will be given the opportunity to set up a free user account which will enable you to view and check out eBooks.

2. From the NetLibrary homepage. Begin your search. You must set up a NetLibrary user account on a campus computer before you can access the eBooks from an off-campus computer.

3. From the Library’s Catalog. You can search the library catalog by author, title or subject. "Electronic Books" will appear along with print materials in your results list. To view the actual eBook, select "Catalog Record" to the right of the book title, then click on the hyperlink for "Electronic access" to the eBook.
