E-Resources Login & Search Options

All of the Library's subscription databases are available from any computer on campus. Simply click on Databases in the Library header.  For a complete description of the Library's databases click here.

Remote access to most of these databases is available to Cerritos College students, faculty, and staff.

Remote access requires you to login using your Cerritos College ID number.

Login Procedures

• Login in the upper right corner of the Library Home Page.
  
  
• Your USER ID is your Cerritos College ID number. You must use a valid Cerritos College ID number to login. The PASSWORD is 'CHANGEME' for all first time users.
  
  
• Once you have logged in, you may change your password, place a hold on a book that's checked out, or search the library databases. 
  
  
• To change your password, click on MyLibrary in the Library header and select Edit My Account.
  
  
• If you don't know your Cerritos College ID number, or if you forget your password after you've changed it, ask at Circulation.
  
  
• To search the databases, click on Databases in the Library header.  Select the database you wish to search.
  
  
• If you have trouble accessing the databases once you have logged in, it could be due to your computer's security software. Passwords for the individual databases are available in the Databases & E-Resources Room in the left index.
  

Database Search Options

You can choose one of three ways to search the databases:

Focus Your Search - Select the individual database that best fits your information needs. Simply click on the name of the database and begin searching.

Customize Your Search - 360 Search allows you to choose the specific databases and web resources you wish to include in your search.

Search It All - Everything Search allows you to search all of our databases at once to retrieve a sampling of information from each. You can also include the Book Catalog and the Web in your Everything Search or you can search by resource type.
