Accessing the Library Databases

All of the Library's subscription databases are available from any computer on campus. Simply click on Databases in the Library header to see a complete list and description of our databases.

Remote access to the subscription databases is available to Cerritos College students, faculty, and staff. Remote access requires a login.

• Select the database you wish to use.
• You'll be asked to login at that time.

  Students: Login using your Cerritos College ID number and password, just as you would login to MyCerritos. You must be currently enrolled in a class.

  Faculty and Staff: Login using your Cerritos College network username and password.

If you have trouble accessing the databases once you have logged in, it could be due to your computer's security software or other issues. You will find a page link to usernames and passwords for the individual databases on the Databases page. A link to the Databases page is in the index at the top of this page.

Database Search Options

You can choose one of three ways to search the databases:

Focus Your Search - Select the individual database that best fits your information needs. Simply click on the name of the database and begin searching.

Customize Your Search - 360 Search allows you to choose the specific databases and web resources you wish to include in your search.
