Cerritos College New Performing Arts Center

(Future Project)

This project involves the demolition and replacement of an aging building with an appropriate cost-efficient and code compliant facility. The building will replace the existing Burnight Center, and house the Music, Theatre Arts and Film instructional programs. The replacement facility will have the same overall ASF as the existing building.

The new Performing Arts Building will be a state-of-the-art facility for theatrical productions and music concerts.

The new Performing Arts Center consist of the following:

Theatre approximately has 500 seats

Music Department

Film Program

Estimated Construction Budget $25 to 26 million.
