Applied Music Program Auditions

AUDITIONS
For the audition, you should prepare a brief musical composition (no more than five minutes) that demonstrates your musicianship and technical achievement. Auditions are held in the Fall and Spring semesters prior to the first day of classes.

Please call the Music Department at (562) 860- 2451 ext. 2629 to inquire about scheduled audition dates and times.

At the audition:

• Perform a brief musical composition that showcases your musical talent in the area of Classical, Jazz, or Musical Theater.

• Bring a letter of recommendation from a teacher who is familiar with your musical ability and commitment.

• Bring your sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
