Cerritos College Psychology Department
The Psychology Department at Cerritos College offers courses in abnormal psychology, biological psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, research methods and statistics, among others. The faculty in the Psychology department are committed to preparing students to successfully complete a bachelor's degree in psychology at a four-year college or university. The department also has opportunities for students to become involved with directed research studies with faculty, and many of our students have presented their original research at national psychology conferences. Students also have the opportunity to network and serve the larger community in two clubs, Psychology Club and/or Active Minds. Eligible students may also join our Psi Beta chapter, which is a National Honor Society in Psychology for two-year colleges.
