Employee Computer Purchase Loan Program
Recent developments have necessitated a change in the purchase options for the Employee Computer Purchase Loan Program. Effective immediately, the District will no longer issue third-party checks (checks made payable to Dell, Best Buy, Fry's, Costco, etc.) for the purchase of computers and approved accessories.
The District will now only reimburse employees for the purchase of computer and approved accessories up to $2000. Employees will need to provide a detailed receipt indicating the items purchased and payment in full when they submit the promissory note to the Purchasing Department.
The Purchasing Department realizes that this may present a problem for some employees, and we apologize for the inconvenience. This change is necessary in order to continue offering the Employee Computer Purchase Loan Program.
Employee Computer Purchase Loan Program At-A-Glance:
Eligible Employees -- All full-time faculty, managers, and full-time classifies staff employed with Cerritos College for more than one year.
Maximum Loan -- $2,000.00 (Subsequent computer loans up to $2,000.00 will be allowed only after the prior loan has been paid in full).
Repayment Period -- 20 payments over a two-year period. There is no payroll deduction during the two summer months.
Interest Rate -- 0%
Repayment Method -- Payroll Deduction
