Poster image reads: 6 IN THE CITY!! Summer One-Acts NORWALK, Calif. – June 1, 2009 – The Cerritos College Department of Theatre is pleased to present 6 in the City!!, the annual Summer One-Act Plays. The plays will showcase a mixed bag of comedy and drama one-act plays written, directed, designed and acted by students.

This year’s show features a special reduced price of $10 for general admission and two tickets for $15 for any students bearing a student ID.

According to the Cerritos College Performing Arts Promotion Specialist Renée Bloch, it is the perfect opportunity for novice actors to try their hand at theatre. Likewise, intermediate and advanced students of the various theatre arts get opportunity to write, direct and design their very own show.

The titles of the six plays* are: The Date; Punch-In, Clock-Out; Grim & Vigor; Bedheadz; The Ballad of Bob & Joan; and Second Station. The show will kick off on Friday, June 19 at 8 p.m. at Cerritos College Burnight Studio Theatre.

Tickets may be purchased in person at BC-G, Theatre Office in front of the Burnight Center Theatre Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (cash only) or at the box office one hour prior to every performance.
