Cerritos College to Host Job Fair on March 24

WHAT: Cerritos College's annual Career Expo and Job Fair will be held Thursday, March 24, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Library/Falcon Square sidewalk. The event which attracts more than 400 attendees each year is free and open to Cerritos College students and the general public. It is recommended that attendees dress in business attire and bring copies of their resumes with them.
During the expo, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the companies, explore job opportunities, network with recruiters, and receive suggestions from employers on resumes and interviewing skills. Employers representing business, finance, sales, retail and other industries will participate in the expo.
Resume Basics workshops will be offered on March 7 & March 10 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, in BE 8; and March 9, from 5 to 6 p.m. in LA 27. Job Fair Tips and Dress for Success workshops will be offered on March 8 & 17 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in SS 136; and Monday, March 14, from 1 to 2 p.m. in LA 27. Students and community members alike are welcome to attend these workshops. A partial list of participating employers will be available after February 21 and will be updated. Students can volunteer to help. Please sign up at the Career Center.

For employers, early registration is $75 per company or organization and includes continental breakfast and two lunch tickets. Additional lunch tickets are $10 each. Registration after March 3 is $100. No registration is accepted after March 10.
