WHAT: During the Financial Aid Awareness Month in February the Cerritos College Financial Aid Office will launch a financial aid awareness campaign "4 Easy Steps to Cash" for new and continuing students. Students who complete the first two steps of the 4 Easy Steps to cash will have the opportunity to receive great giveaways, including scholarships, Kindles and gift cards. Cal Grant opportunities and more valuable information will also be offered during the campaign.

The goal is to get as many students to complete their FAFSA early (step 1), submit all required forms to the Financial Aid Office (step 2) by April 30th, 2012, and review the award letter (step 3). Completing these steps will help students receive their financial aid on time for the new academic year (step 4).

The financial aid information table will be set up in front of the Cerritos College Library. Students are encouraged to stop by to seek advice and for free food and giveaways.
