WHAT: The Music Department is thrilled to offer piano concert and lecture series during the spring months.

Friday, February 24
"Claude Debussy: Celebrating One Hundred Fifty Years"
Solo piano and vocal works of French impressionist composer Claude Debussy will be performed.
Arabesques and Reflects dans I'eau from images - Paul Da Silva, piano, Premiere Rhapsodie for clarinet and piano - Dr. David Lopez, clarinet, Dr. Christine Lopez, piano and selected melodies - Rhonda Dillon, soprano.

Friday, March 23
"Johannes Brahms: Last of the Great German Composers"
This event will feature vocal faculty - Rhonda Dillon, Anna De Michelle, Leland Vail and Conrad Immel performing "Liebeslieder", Op. 52 for vocal quartet and one piano/four hands with Dr, Christine Lopez and Dr. Sung Ae Lee, pianists and Rhapsody Op. 79 in g minor - Johanna Chen, piano

Friday, April 27
"Keyboard Fantasies"
Guest Artist: Dr. Allison Edwards, CSUF piano faculty This interesting topic will include works written by Bach - "Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue", Brahms - "Fantasies" Op. 116, and Schumann's "Phantasiestucke" Op. 12.
