Student Learning Outcomes
The purpose of Student Learning Outcomes (SLO’s) is to provide feedback to faculty in order to facilitate improvement of Student Learning. The process involves the following four steps:
- Annual review/revision of course, certificate and program SLO’s
- Assessment design of selected course, certificate and program SLO’s
- Accumulating assessment results for selected course, certificate and program SLO’s
- Evaluation of assessment results and action plan development
The video’s below are presented in order to facilitate the process for faculty. Additionally, the committee has developed many instructional materials (see links on the left banner) for use in understanding and participating in the SLO process.
