Cerritos College Bridge Program students Ashly Medina and Abieiden Lopez from Lynwood High School were accepted to Columbia University and Stanford University respectively on a full-ride scholarship for fall 2018.
National Manufacturing Day Inspires Students - October 23, 2017
Nearly 450 students and educators from ABC, Bellflower, Lynwood, Long Beach, and Downey Unified School Districts, and professionals from various industries participated. The event showcased the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Design Technology, New Product Development, Machine Tool Technology, Plastics/Composites, Woodworking, and Welding departments.
The Cerritos College Technology Division announced that 580 students received industry certifications in engineering design technology, welding, and machine tool technology during the 2016-17 academic year.
Five Lynwood High School students recently earned a Cerritos College Engineering Design and Production Technology Certificate of Achievement.
