Our story begins in Enrico Fermi High where rules, discipline and conformity to the nuclear-age ideals are the glue that hold society together. Toffee, the school’s popular good-girl is following all the rules but feels she is missing something. Then, in walks Jonny and some real sparks ignite between the two. Miss Strict, the school’s principle sends this rebel packing to restore order to the school and Toffee’s parents force her to break off their relationship.

Desperate and brokenhearted, Jonny tosses himself into the town’s nuclear reactor. Jonny is then buried at sea. But then, Jonny returns glowing and green from his nuclear bath as a zombie. He begs Miss Strict to return to school and seeks out his true love, Toffee. But, as a zombie, both reject him.

Students begin to take up the cause for Zombie Rights! and begin to question all of the conformist rules. His story becomes a cause celebre. Will true love win out in the end? Or will his differences be too much for this town?
