The Tempest by William Shakespeare
Imagine a steampunk-era traveling carnival straight out of American Horror Story with a Cirque-like flair!
The Cerritos College Theatre & Film Department offers William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, thought to be his final solo work. This story, centered around a budding romance and influenced by the tragicomedy genre has a little something for everyone: betrayal, romance, comedy, and intrigue. And the entire show is set in a Steampunk era with a traveling Carnival as the core cast of shipwrecked characters playing out their magical merriment.
Be dazzled and amazed, mystified and amused… but be sure to be there!
