WMT 148 Furniture Making and Manufacturing       4.0 Units
Class hours: 2 lecture/6 lab
Prerequisite: WMT 103 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or “C” or higher, or appropriate work experience.
Corequisite: None.
Recommendation: None.

This course teaches basic elements of production furniture design, prototype building, and product evaluation. The course acquaints the student with all phases of furniture production as a profession. Students design, build, and test market furniture samples from which items will be selected for manufacturing in the Production Furniture Making and Manufacturing course (WMT
24.8). This course may be taken a maximum of 4 times.
