WMT 157 Passage Door       4.0 Units
Class hours: 2.5 lecture/5.5 lab
Prerequisite: WMT 102 or WMT 103 or WMT 151 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or “C” or higher, or appropriate work experience.
Corequisite: None.
Recommendation: WMT 155.

This course introduces the student to the methods, materials, tools, and machinery used in the design, manufacturing, and installation of passage doors. Classroom topics include the history, design, milling, assembly, and installation of doors. A major emphasis will be on the safe use of woodworking machinery and materials involved in door millwork. This course may be taken a maximum of 2 times.
