WMT 250 Intermediate FaceFrame Cabinetmaking       4.0 Units
Class hours: 2.5 lecture/5.5 lab
Prerequisite: WMT 151 and WMT 181 or equivalent with grades of Credit or “C” or higher, or appropriate work experience.
Corequisite: None.
Recommendation: None.

In this course the student will review and learn additional methods, materials, tools, and machinery used in the design, manufacturing, and installation of face frame cabinetry. Classroom topics include the history, design, milling, assembly, and installation of face frame cabinetry. Students will work in teams to design, fabricate and install a complete set of kitchen cabinets. A major emphasis will be on production techniques and the safe use of woodworking machinery and materials involved in cabinetmaking and millwork. This course may be taken a maximum of 4 times.
