WMT 251 Advanced FaceFrame Cabinetmaking      4.0 Units
Class hours: 2.5 lecture/5.5 lab
Prerequisite: WMT 250 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or “C” or higher, or appropriate work experience.
Corequisite: None.

This course provides the student the opportunity to improve faceframe cabinetmaking skills by the use of tool and machinery specific to advanced faceframe cabinetmaking and millwork. Topics include inset door fabrication, coopered door construction, linen fold and other special panel detailing as well as applied mouldings, appliqués and carvings. Students will fabricate a series of project samples for use in future advanced cabinetmaking projects. This course may be taken a maximum of 4 times.
