


WMT 252 Intermediate 32MM System Cabinetmaking 4.5 Units
Class hours: 2.5 lecture/5.5 lab
Prerequisite: WMT 153 and WMT 181 or equivalent with grades of Credit or “C” or higher, or appropriate work experience.
Corequisite: None.
Recommendation: WMT 281.
In this course the student will review and learn additional methods, materials, tools, and machinery used in the design, manufacturing, and installation of European 32MM system cabinetry. Classroom topics include the history, design, milling,assembly, and installation of European 32MM system cabinetry. Students will work in teams to design, fabricate and install a complete set of European cabinets. A major emphasis will be on production techniques and the safe use of computerized numerical control panel processing machinery. This course may be taken a maximum of 4 times.
