WMT 253 Advanced 32MM system of Cabinetmaking       4.0 Units
Class hours: 2.5 lecture/5.5 lab
Prerequisite: WMT 252 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or “C” or higher, or appropriate work experience.
Corequisite: None.
Recommendation: None.

This course provides the student the opportunity to improve European 32MM system cabinetmaking skills by the use of tools and machinery specific to advanced 32MM system cabinetmaking and millwork. Topics include advanced boring patterns, inset door installation, coopered and radius door applications, and other special trim and filler detailing as well as applied mouldings, appliqués and carvings. Students will fabricate a series of project samples for use with future advanced 32MM system cabinetmaking projects. This course may be taken a maximum of 4 times.
