Cerritos College will have a booth at the Costa Mesa Woodworking Show starting Friday, October 31st until Sunday, November 2nd. In order the make the show a success we are seeking student volunteers in the following areas:

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Display your project at the show. Help us illustrate the skills that can be obtained by taking classes with Cerritos College. Sign-up to display your favorite project(s) at the show and share your work with a community outside of the program.

Work as a docent in the booth. We are looking for people who love to talk about woodworking and like to start conversations. We need folks who can answer questions about the program and projects on display. Docents are expected to have a basic knowledge of woodworking and a general understanding of the woodworking classes offered by Cerritos College.

Load and transport furniture to or from the show. We are looking for volunteers who can lift precious cargo without unanticipated accidents. If you are someone who pays attention to detail and can lift over 50 pounds—the job is yours! Luis Rodriguez, our Maintenance Technician, will coordinate the delivery to and from the show. We are equipped with a flatbed truck and a responsible driver.
