Cerritos College

Cerritos College will have a booth at the Furniture & Decorative Arts Show and Sale on October 18th and 19th. We are looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Work as a docent in the booth. We are looking for people who love to talk about woodworking and are not afraid to start conversations. We need folks who can answer questions about the program and projects on display. Docents are expected to have a basic knowledge of woodworking and a general understanding of the woodworking classes offered by Cerritos College.

Load and transport furniture to or from the show. We are looking for volunteers who can lift precious cargo without unanticipated accidents. If you are someone who pays attention to detail and can lift over 50 pounds—the job is yours! Luis Rodriguez, our Maintenance Technician, will coordinate the delivery to and from the show. We are equipped with a flatbed truck and a responsible driver.
