- Tribute to Wally Kincaid during Baseball Opener on Feb. 2

Prior to the start of their home opener against Glendale College on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., the Cerritos College baseball program will pay tribute to Wally Kincaid, the program's first coach, who passed away in November. - Snow Brings Winter Wonderland to Child Development Center
Truckloads of real snow created play area, Frosty the Snowman and sled runs at the Child Development Center on January 28. Children and adults alike enjoyed the snow scene along with activities, food, and movie. Funded by several state grants, the winter tradition started six years ago.
- Women in Engineering Panel Inspires High School Students
The Technology Division hosted a panel discussion of women engineers from various career paths, stages, and industries for female high school students interested in the engineering field. The discussion featured the challenges and rewards of the profession and the panelists encouraged participating students to pursue a career in engineering.

- Celebrating Black History Month
“Each One Teach One” is an African proverb that was adopted by black slaves. Since blacks were denied an education, reading and writing were deemed illegal. In the rare case that slaves learned to read or write, it became their duty to teach someone else – and ultimately to spread their knowledge to the whole community. The tradition lives on. - Lunar New Year Celebration Coming to Cerritos College
Cerritos College is pleased to present the 2016 Lunar New Year Celebration on February 17, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m, in the Student Center. - College Seeks Applicants for Community Task Force
The Community Task Force was established to give District residents an outlet to provide feedback directly to campus leadership. Members of the Task Force will serve as campus community ambassadors.
